Indoor radon measurements were carried out in 20 dwellings at Madina in the La Nkwantanang Municipality, Greater Accra Region, during the dry season in Ghana in November 2019. The indoor radon concentrations ranged from 37.61±6.13 Bq/m3 to 334.30±18.28 Bq/m3. The mean indoor radon concentration was 151.51±14.71 Bq/m3, which exceeds the World Health Organization action level of 100 Bq/m3 and within the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) reference level of 100 Bq/m3-300 Bq/m3. The annual effective dose ranged from 0.939±0.02 mSv/yr to 8.35±2.88 mSv/yr, with an average of 3.78±0.37 mSv/yr.
