I have written this book as an invitation to the adventure that is health psychology. I have several interrelated goals in mind. The first is to provide an accessible and engaging introduction to current research and practice in health psychology.... The book is designed as an up-to-date summary of this work, pointing out the progress that has been made as well as what is yet to be learned.
