With the rapid advances in technologies over the past decade, it has led to massive transformations within healthcare. Healthcare used to be dependent on paper-based medical records, but with the introduction of technologies, to date, most of the medical records are now electronic. Technology has also transformed and affected the way in which psychotherapy is delivered. Psychotherapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy used to be delivered on an individual basis, in person, but with the advances in technologies and due to the geographical distances in some countries, there was a gradual shift towards telephone-based psychotherapy previously [1].
