Among the industrial enzymes, cellulase plays a central role in biotechnology and agricultural applications such as foods, chemicals, detergents, cosmetics, pulp, and paper. Most of these applications suffer from low thermal and storage stability of cellulase, contamination of products by enzyme and lake of enzyme reusability that make process inappropriate in economic viewpoint. For overcoming these issues and improve the stability and reusability of the enzyme, the immobilization methods could employ. Recently, the immobilization of cellulase on nanomaterials is under more considerable attention due to the significant surface properties of these supports. However, the application of these supports is also restricted by troubles in recovery, e.g., via centrifugation or filtration.
