简介
" My paper focuses on the apparent discrepancy between how the science of self-governance and practitioners of self-governance seem to conceptualize participation. In particular, by drawing insight from the findings of solidarity practitioners and psychological science, I will argue that solidarity-based economies exist for reasons beyond traditionally recognized economic and informational considerations. Specifically, I argue that institutional stakeholders (eg, consumers and producers) want to satisfy social-psychological needs--needs for social justice (living in a'fair'world), self-determination, social belonging, and self-competence--in addition to meeting their economic needs."
