Audiologists are in a helping profession, serving patients of all ages, but our mission is challenged when patients cannot afford hearing aids. An unexpected solution from an unlikely source made all the difference in one case, however.

Representatives from the Riggs Community Health Center (CHC) in Lafayette, IN, and the Delta Zeta sorority at nearby Purdue University, approached the university's audiology clinic a few years ago to discuss a partnership to provide hearing aids to the underserved.
