In the current research, a novel metal-organic coordination polymer compound, [Pb(L)(SCN)2]n in which of L represent C4H6N2 (1-methyl imidazole), through methodologies of the branch tube and sonochemical irradiation were fabricated and characterized via elemental analysis such as X-ray, FT-IR and Hirshfeld surface analyses. The obtained results revealed that the same crystalline phase is obtained for every compound, regardless of the type of employed methodology. Single crystal X-ray analyses on compound 1 imply that Pb2+ ions are 8-coordinated. Besides, topological analysis reveals that the compound 1 is 3,4,7 L1 net. Hirshfeld Surface Analysis of compound 1 is also studied.
