Objectives:
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a viral pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2, a member of the Coronavirinae subfamily. Myalgia is one of the most prevalent symptoms. The aim of this study is to investigate whether there is a change in FDG uptake of the muscles and bone marrow of patients with COVID-19 infection. Method: From august 2020 to december 2020, a total of 1260 oncological FDG PET-CT studies were performed in our center. Among 242 oncology patients whose SARS-CoV-2 PCR results were available, the data of 32 patients with concurrent SARS-CoV-2 positivity or previous disease history and the data of 36 covid negative patients were analyzed retrospectively.
