Four alkaloids were isolated from the stem bark of Orophea hexandra, collected in September 2001, from Bukit Tigapuluh National Park, Riau Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. Structural analysis identified these alkaloids as laurolitsine, norpredicentrine, aristolactam AII and sebiferine.
