Thank you for a most enjoyable piece worthy of framing outside my office door. 1 It is clear that we in obstetrics and gynecology are coming to a boil regarding this administration’s attempted and extant intrusions into the previously sacrosanct doctor-patient relationship. However, I was under the impression that the non–evidence-based proposed Fetal Pain Awareness Act did not pass the 109th Congress this past December, having lobbied hard against it with Physicians for Reproductive Choice. Are we and the Congressional Record in error?
