This article presents the risks involved in carrying out sports and leisure activities. These activities include swimming, scuba diving (with gears), excursions and hikes (altitude above 2500 m), gathering of large crowds (such as pilgrimages and concerts). In addition, this article presents the means to prevent the health hazards associated with these activities such as vaccination. The health of military personnel is briefly discussed as well.
