Micro grids are current, limited scope, decentralized electrical energy framework. They are answer for energy emergency, alongside further developing the power supply dependability, quality and productivity. Micro grids on general basis is majorly used in AC systems. In order to overcome this we have done a case study on using micro grids in both AC and DC systems and performing various analysis. The analysis performed to infer are Load flow analysis, Harmonic analysis, Short-circuit analysis. To perform this analysis we have used DigSILENTPowerFactory simulation software. Usually AC has some better performance when compared with DC and vice-verse. AC has good transmitting properties with DC current system is entirely built with AC systems and as far safety is concerned, while most equipment operating at AC systems are DC.
