TiC MXenes, as a new type of a two‐dimensional layered structure material, have obtained more and more attention in the fields of energy storage and conversion. TiC MXenes possess high electronic conductivity, a large specific area, a unique layered structure, abundant surface terminations, and excellent photoelectronic properties. This chapter gives a brief introduction to the TiC MXene properties, synthesis procedures, and application in the fields of energy storage and conversion. The chapter explains the different techniques involved for synthesis of TiC MXene composites employed to obtain hybrid materials for energy storage and conversion. The characterization is important to study the morphological, structural, and optical properties of the material that have been studied in this chapter.
