Background: The global coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak forced a shift from face-to-face education to online learning in higher education settings around the world. From the outset, COVID-19 online learning has differed from conventional online learning due to the limited time that students, instructors, and institutions had to adapt to the online learning platform. Such a rapid transition of learning modes may have affected learning effectiveness.
Methods: A total 150 first MBBS students after completion of subjective contents via virtual mode of classes. A total five groups were formed and the group was simply named as A, B, C, D and E to see the perception of student regarding virtual tools.
Results: It was observed that there were 72% students were agreed as beneficial impact whereas 50% were shows positive view towards cooperative learning method in online case discussion.
Conclusion: Students had a positive perception and attitude toward the role of the videoconferencing platforms for learning during the COVID‑19 pandemic lockdown
