简介
This study presents a novel wireless implantable neural interface system. The devised system can concurrently record neural signals and stimulate target nerves with cuff electrodes. To establish a wireless data link, MICS (Medical Implant Communication Service)-based RF transceivers were used and wireless communication range was extended. The system developed through this study was able to transmit acquired neural signals and generate nerve stimulation pulses. To evaluate the proposed system, in vivo experiments were performed using a New Zealand white rabbit animal model.
