Aiming at the problem of passive positioning of fixed signal sources by high-orbit single satellites, this paper proposes a positioning method based on joint estimation of high-order modulation information. This method introduces the concept of high-orbit synthetic aperture radar imaging into high-orbit passive positioning. The matched filter is constructed, and the high-order modulation term of the received signal is estimated by the method of azimuth focusing and minimum entropy. In the geographic coordinate system, the cost function is directly constructed to search for the position of the signal source. On this basis, the orthogonality of the contours of higher-order terms is analyzed, and the ability of this method to locate signal sources at different locations is clarified. Theoretical derivation and simulation results verify the effectiveness of the positioning method.
