Discussion. Our patient showed selective learning difficulty on neuropsychiatry tests, and
this clinical characteristic was correlated with bilateral hippocampal lesions on MRI.
Although there are some reports of memory dysfunction in patients with GLA intoxication,
this is the first report of bilateral hippocampal lesions being responsible for anterograde
amnesia in a patient with GLA intoxication.
