Anticancer Potential of Green Synthesized Silver Nanoparticles Using Extract of Nepeta deflersiana against Human Cervical Cancer Cells (HeLA)

ES Al-Sheddi, NN Farshori, MM Al-Oqail… - Bioinorganic …, 2018 - Wiley Online Library
In this study, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were synthesized using aqueous extract of
Nepeta deflersiana plant. The prepared AgNPs (ND‐AgNPs) were examined by ultraviolet‐
visible spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction (XRD),
transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and energy
dispersive spectroscopy (EDX). The results obtained from various characterizations
revealed that average size of synthesized AgNPs was 33 nm and in face‐centered‐cubic …

Anti cancer potential of green synthesized silver nanoparticles

R Khandelwal, SK Arora, DM Phase… - AIP conference …, 2020 - pubs.aip.org
At present cancer claims lives of millions of people worldwide annually. Therefore in past
few years focus of researchers to develop cancer therapeutics from natural products
increasing significantly. In the present paper we are reporting our studies on the synthesis of
phytofunctionalized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) and their anti cancer activity against the
human breast cancer (MCF-7) and mammary cancer (EVSA-7) cell lines by using MTT
assay. In past few years green synthesis of nanoparticles using plant extracts has gained …
