Eggs, larvae, pupae, and adults were collected weekly using modified ovitraps and CDC
traps. A well-defined pattern of seasonality was observed between October 1993 and May
1994. The overall population peaked during February and March. Females showed no
ovipositional preference between ovitraps with or without larvae of Ae. aegypti. Sex-ratio in
pupae from ovitraps and adults from CDC traps was 1: 1
