This study was designed to evaluate the cardioprotective effect of Curcuma longa in isoproterenol induced myocardial infarction in rats. At the end of experiment, all the rats were sacrificed. Blood samples were collected from the heart. Serum Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH) and Creatine Kinase-MB (CK-MB) levels were estimated to assess myocardial injury.
