This paper presents a smart contact lens (SCL) controller IC with a high-precision current
sensor interface and a dual-mode wireless telemetry, where a single power-oscillator-based
circuit with an external loop antenna supports both LSK and RF data transmission. The
implemented IC in 0.18μm CMOS, achieving a dynamic conversion range of 89 dB while
dissipating 143 nW, is verified in a glucose-sensing SCL system.
