Manuel de Falla's personal library provides a unique resource for the study of the
composer's assimilation of ideas and their impact upon the poetic conception and stylistic
development of this modernist Hispanic artist. The integrity of the surviving collection, when
studied in conjunction with his voluminous correspondence, compositional sketch material
