abstrakt w j. angielskim: The discussion about a knowledge-based economy, the transfer of technologies, and cooperation between the business community and the educational institutions becomes increasingly present in the public debate with every year. One of its more important elements is the issue of matching the formal education offer to the requirements and needs of the labour market. This chapter explores the sectoral aspect of the imbalance between the skill supply and demand based on the case of the Competency Balance Sheet research program conducted in Kraków between 2012 and 2014.
