The potential neuroprotective benefits of curcumin against cisplatin neurotoxicity were
investigated. Curcumin is a polyphenol derived from the rhizome of Curcuma longa whose
pharmacological effects include antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties.
