This paper reports the results of a study to validate, using LISREL, a structural model relating
dimensions characterizing the user's perception of buildings (evaluation, temperature, noise,
air and space) to user satisfaction with those buildings and their environments as
workplaces. Eighty-three lecturers, students and administrative staff at the Psychology
