Fractal dimension measures the degree of geometric irregularity present in the objects. The
divider method and the box-counting method are two classical approaches for computing
fractal dimension of natural objects and other fractals. In this article we calculate the fractal
dimension of border of India and coastline of India using a novel multicore parallel
