Materials and Methods Healthy leaflets were collected from the'elite'mature tree ofAzadirachta indica from the MS University Botanical Gardens. A plant showing highest nimbin content was selected as an'elite'superior plane. Leaflets were washed under running tap water and then with teepol. They were surface sterilized with mercuric chloride (0.05%) and washed several times with sterile distilled water.
