An investigation of two Massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) scenarios, with
distributed and collocated transmitter antenna cases for a large dense urban environment, is

Maximum Ratio Transmission (MRT) and Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) linear beamformers are implemented during the post processing. The downlink performances are investigated. The results indicate that the variation of performance among the users can be different even though the average performance figures are not significantly different for the given deployment schemes.
