The body image played a major role in the self-esteem and attractiveness of human beings throughout the entire mankind’s history [1, 2]. The feminine body contour, the shape and the volume of the breasts—according to the era—transmitted vital messages about the species’‘‘survivability’’: health and fertility, capacity of giving birth, breastfeeding and raising numerous children. The contemporary society, prosperous and sophisticated, more and more ‘‘image addicted,’’apparently free from the species survival fear but having a perfection and youthobsession, is putting estheticism and ‘‘looking good’’in the center of modern concerns [3]. In this context, our specialty is called to play the role in helping our patients fulfill their complex needs: improving the appearance (shape) of the breasts to look beautiful and young but in a safe manner and with the possibility to return soon to their family and to their social and professional life.

In this perspective, the authors are proposing a breast reshaping technique, the value of which has been validated during eleven years of surgical practice [4]. According to authors, the technique is sourced and gathers elements from many other techniques preserving the superior pedicle for nipple–areola complex (NAC) and breast parenchyma, with periareolar, circumvertical or short inverted T scars.
