This article discusses the study of the problem of poverty based on the narrative of the
offering of the poor widow in Mark 12: 41-44. By using qualitative methods or more precisely
literature review, the authors conclude that there needs to be an encounter with them
beforehand so that through encounters with poor people, both writers and we can also gain
a deeper understanding of God's heart, not only for ourselves, for the poor and the weak, but
