This Letter documents BER performance analysis of orthogonal affine precoder (OAP)‐
based CDMA filter bank multi‐carrier offset QAM (CDMA‐FBMC/OQAM) systems. The use of
OAP cancels the interference introduced by simultaneous transmission of data and training

This Letter documents BER performance analysis of orthogonal affine precoder (OAP)‐based CDMA filter bank multi‐carrier offset QAM (CDMA‐FBMC/OQAM) systems. The use of OAP cancels the interference introduced by simultaneous transmission of data and training sequence during channel estimation and data detection. This makes the channel estimation and data detection more accurate and hence, BER performance is improved. It is observed that the proposed system outperforms the state‐of‐art FBMC systems from BER perspective.
