Adolescence is characterized by increased social stress due to changes in interpersonal
relationships, but little is known about daily experiences of social stress. The aim of the
present study was to examine daily life predictors of increases in social stress, how these
increases affected adolescents' mood, and whether loneliness moderated these relations.
