The problems of determining stresses and strains in an axially compressed square shaped
plywood shell are presented in the paper. The problems are considered in the paper under
conditions of flat cross-sections planes and little slopes of the elastic line. The received
theoretical results of stresses and strains are presented for an example of the square
shaped plywood made of birch.
