The dosimetric characteristics of γ-radiation induced defects in strontium sulfate rod
dosimeter are investigated using electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) technique
focusing on the low dose range of 1–100 Gy. Significant EPR signals of spectroscopic
splitting factor (g) 2.01075, 2.04225, 2.03166, 2.00774 and 1.9219086 are observed in the
rod upon γ-irradiation. The intensity of the signals increases linearly with increasing
