Naegleria fowleri is a deadly human pathogen recognized as the causative agent of Primary
Amoebic Meningitis (PAM). N. fowleri is commonly found in warm freshwater environments
such as natural or man-made lakes, hot springs, and resort spas frequented by tourists. PAM
