Undergraduate nursing faculty and staff developed virtual telemedicine simulations and integrated them as teaching strategies into a health promotion and wellness course. The simulation objectives included students’ abilities to discuss and analyze the various determinants and dimensions of health and wellness, recognize how individual and professional values influence wellness-promoting behaviors, and discuss diverse lifestyles, support systems, and multicultural and global issues as they impact wellness and health promotion.
