In this entry, we cover some of the synthesis methods (chemical reduction in reverse micelle,
and solution, fabrication in hydrogels, thermal decomposition, seed-mediated growth, and
precipitation from aqueous solution) and characterization of magnetic nanoparticles
(transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, X-ray absorption spectroscopy,
