A simple and inexpensive method for rapid synthesis of MgB2 superconductor

studies were carried out using XRD and SEM together with optical microscope. Phase pure
MgB2 with better microstructure was obtained at 700° C in less than 5min. The synthesis
method adopted here considerably reduces the overall production cost and the complexity
of manufacturing procedure.
