Senna alata has attracted the attention of many researchers due to its numerous medicinal
properties. This study aims to test the acute and sub-acute toxicity of its leaf extracts in Swiss
albino mice. Studies were carried out with a fixed dose of 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 mg/kg
body weight through oral administration daily. Signs of toxicity in terms of behavior and
