Chromolaena odorata or Tekelan has been used traditionally to cope with diabetes mellitus,
but the scientific evidence as antidiabetic agent has not been previously reported. Therefore,
it is necessary to test the antidiabetic activity using ethanol extract of the tekelan leaves in
