The article presents the simulation results of vacuum and auto-compression (SF6) circuit
breakers at high unloaded inductive currents switching-offs. These results include curves of
transitional voltages at switching under consideration and also conclusions on dependence
of overvoltages and recovery voltages ratios on some influencing factors, especially on type
