There is accumulating evidence of a mutual relationship between multiple sclerosis and
structural epilepsy. Comorbidity of these severe neurological disorders is reported in
numerous recent publications in the available foreign literature. Modern diagnostic tools
include comprehensive neurological examinations as well as computed tomography,
electroencephalography and 18F FDG positron emission tomography. In this paper we
report the case of a female patient with multiple sclerosis and structural epilepsy.
