Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect on the level of aggression participation in sports and social activities. 911 students, who taking education high schools and having between 15.90±0.99 age participated to study voluntarily. Buss-Perry Aggression scale was used to determine the level of aggression in this study. While male participants’ physical aggression scores were found higher than female participants at significant level, female participants’ hostility scores were found higher than male participants at significant level. Physical aggression score of participants doing sport was found higher than participants who don’t sport. Physical aggression and anger scores of individuals participating social activities were significantly lower than individuals who don’t participate social activities. Participants having low academic achievement have maximum physical aggression scores. As a result it was found that aggression level is variable as genders, academic achievement and participation in sports and social activities.
