The insects attacking 3 cultivars of sunflower (HO-1, SB-212 and IS-894) were sampled at
weekly intervals during the growing seasons in 1981 and 1982 in field plots in the North
West Frontier Province, Pakistan. The pests observed were the aleyrodid Bemisia tabaci, the
aphid Aphis gossypii, the typhlocybid Amrasca devastans, the chrysomelid Disonycha sp.,

Abstract
The insects attacking 3 cultivars of sunflower (HO-1, SB-212 and IS-894) were sampled at weekly intervals during the growing seasons in 1981 and 1982 in field plots in the North West Frontier Province, Pakistan.
