The paper presents the application of artificial intelligence techniques-artificial neural
network (ANN) and fuzzy logic to the problems of stock market prediction, sales forecasting
and market segmentation. Back propagation algorithm has been used to train the neural
network for the first two problems, while Self-Organizing Maps (SOM) have been employed

Abstract
