Daidzein, a plant extract, has antioxidant activity. It is hypothesized, in this study, that
daidzein exhibits neuroprotective effects on cerebral ischemia. Rat models of middle
cerebral artery occlusion were intraperitoneally administered daidzein. Biochemical and
