Currently, contrasting views exist regarding which body and arm postures are most effective
for eliciting maximal voluntary exertions in the shoulder muscles. Informed exertion
standardization may improve comparisons between subjects and muscle groups for
normalized electromyography values. Additionally, identifying exertions that can produce
