In this article, we will review recent progress in elucidating the mechanisms that regulate
phospholipid biosynthesis in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae and discuss advances in
assigning gene–enzyme relationships in these pathways. Because these subjects have
been covered in a number of comprehensive reviews [1],[2],[3],[4],[5], we will focus on
