Annona coriacea Mart., popularly known as “marolo”,“araticum” and “araticum-liso” is a
species distributed in Paraguay and Brazil, and easily found in Caatinga, Cerrado, and
Pantanal biomes. The araticum has been used in folk medicine to treat stomatitis, neuralgia,
