In this proposed work, the system is developedwith image processing and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) to identify the properties of the soil image and to determine the suitable crop for cultivation. This work aims testing of soil which is useful to know the type of soil and the properties like fertility and acidity of the soil, and predicting the crop yield at a particular soil and thereby recommending suitable crop for that soil.
